Sacked Bank Boards: CBN Appoints New Officials for Union, Keystone, Polaris
*Appointment takes immediate effect.
The Central Bank of Nigeria on Wednesday announced the appointment of new executive officers for banks which had their boards sacked same day.
The banks are Union Bank, Keystone Bank and Polaris.
The development was disclosed by the Acting Director of Corporate Communications, CBN, Sidi-Alli Hakama, in a circular made available to newsmen late Wednesday.
“Board and Management of Union Bank, Keystone Bank and Polaris Bank on Wednesday, January 10, the CBN has appointed new executives to oversee the affairs of the bank;
Following the new development, Yetunde Oni takes over as Managing Director, Union Bank while Mannir Ubali Ringin takes over as Executive Director.
Hassan Iman takes charge as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Keystone Bank, while Chioma A. Many will function as Executive Director.
Polaris Bank has Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer while Chris Onyeka Ofikulu becomes the Executive Director
The appointments take immediate effect.
