Nigeria Borne Medical Physician Arrested in the US

Security operatives in Texas, US, have arrested a Nigerian medical physician, Ikenna Aduba, for alleged serial sexual assault on a patient.
Reports from the state Attorney General's office say Aduba, 64, was picked up by Denton police department after receiving complaints from the victim that the 64 year-old suspect inappropriately touched her during a doctor's appointment at the First Care Medical Center.
Meanwhile, investigation by the Denton Police Department found four counts of indecent assaults, with Texas Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit also finding three female complainants, who were allegedly assaulted by Aduba in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
Adugba, who received his medical training from Nigeria in 1982, before moving to America, was earlier sanctioned by the Texas Medical Board for repeatedly failing to uphold his responsibilities as a medical professional.
The sanction resulted in fines, attendance at ethics courses, remedial training, and external monitoring.
