Sweden Declares Sex As Sport
Set To Organize European championship in June.
Sweden has officially declared sex as sport. According to Mint, an online news portal, the European country is also set to organize the first of its kind European Sex Championship in the second week of June.
Mint reports that the championship, billed to commence on June 8, will span a period of six weeks.
Over the period, participants will engage in sexual activities from 45 minutes to 1 hour daily, with sex sessions extending up to six hours daily depending on the duration of their matches.
The report added that winners will be decided by a panel of judges with the audience also influencing the final decisions. However, the final decision on who emerges winner will be be based on several factors, including the chemistry between the couple, knowledge about sex and endurance level.
In particular, participants will earn more winning points based on their understanding of ‘Kamasutra', with knowledge of the Sanskrit scripture on sex and eroticism also playing an important role.
Remarkably, the championship is said to have encouraged people from different sexual orientations haven affirmed its respect for diversity.
According to the organizers, incorporating sexual orientation as a part of sporting tactics will be a groundbreaking development among European countries.
