Eid-el-Fitr: Tuesday, Wednesday, Are Work-Free Days-FG
Tuesday, and Wednesday, 9 and 10 April, 2024, have been announced as public holidays by the federal government.
The announcement, made by the minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is in commemoration of the Eld-el-Fitri celebration
The minister who, on behalf of the Federal government, also congratulated Muslim Ummah on their successful completion of fasting during the holy month, enjoined the All faithful to imbibe and practice the virtues of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighbourliness, compassion as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon Him.
According to him, every Nigerian must continue in the spirit of unity in order to improve and achieve peace and oneness in the country.
He therefore wishes all Muslim Ummah a happy Eid-el-Fitr celebration, praying that the peace, blessings and favour of Allah be with everyone and our Great Nation.
