Capital Sportiff Sports Club Hosts Exciting Four-Team Football Tournament to Conclude Year-End President's Cup

In a remarkable showcase of skill and sportsmanship, Capital Sportiff Sports Club orchestrated a captivating four-team football tournament to signify the culmination of the year-end President's Cup.

The participating teams – Team Seyi/Senator Eteng Williams, Team Management Edge, Team UGKM, and Team Queen of Martyrs – exhibited their prowess on the Capital Sportiff field in Asokoro, Abuja, creating an electrifying atmosphere for football enthusiasts. Notably, both Team Seyi/Senator and Team Management Edge were selected from the Capital Sportiff Sports Club.

The matches drew the attention of distinguished personalities, including Mr. Seyi Tinubu, the first son of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Senator Eteng Williams, the esteemed representative of Cross Rivers Central Senatorial District.

In a keenly contested final game, Team Management Edge emerged triumphant against Team Seyi with a 4-2 victory in penalty shootouts after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Their stellar performance earned them the coveted top prize, along with a substantial reward of one million Naira.

The first runner-up, Team Seyi/Senator, demonstrated commendable sportsmanship, securing the second position and receiving a commendable prize of five hundred thousand Naira. Team Queen of Martyrs, displaying grit and determination throughout the tournament, clinched the second runner-up position after defeating Team UGKM in the third-place match.

In earlier games, Team Management Edge triumphed over Team UGKM, while Team Seyi/Senator secured victory against Team Queen of Martyrs to qualify for the finals.
