Ugwuijero Mayhem: Enugu Police Command Deploys Tactical/Intelligence Unit

Enugu state police boss, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, has ordered the deployment of the command's operational and intelligence resources in the quest to hunt down perpetrators of the heinous attack and murder of people in Ugwuijero village, Nimbo, Uzo-Uwani council area of the state.
The development is contained in a statement made available by the command spokesperson DSP Daniel Ndukwe, NIPR, via his X handle.
According to the statement, the commissioner made the comment while accompanying the state governor, Dr Peter Mbah, on a visit to the affected community for an on-the-spot assessment of the incident.
He assured that the operations, directly under his command and control, will use everything at the command's disposal of the Police to bring the perpetrators to book.
While commiserating with the immediate families of the victims and people of the Ugwuijero and the entire Nimbo community over the unfortunate incident, he noted that the command will never allow incidents of this nature to persist anywhere in the state.
