Jamie Foxx Rushed to the Hospital

International film star, Jamie Foxx, has been rushed to a hospital over an undisclosed ailment.

The news was broken by his daughter, Corinne, on her Instagram handle, without saying what the problem is. 

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, has experienced a medical complication. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.” Foxx and James' friendship has stretched back for many year, with both stars supporting each other's respective careers.

Foxx, 55, is said to be on set filming the Netflix flick, 'Back in Action' alongside film star, Cameron Diaz, when he became ill and had to be rushed to the hospital.

It is currently unclear as to what has caused Foxx to suddenly be rushed into hospital. What is known, is that the 55-year-old has been filming the Netflix movie ‘Back in Action’ alongside Cameron Diaz.

Foxx has about eight days to go on the set of the flick but with the latest development, there is no time as his that depends on his recovery. 

Meanwhile, news of his ill health has elicited so much reaction and well wishes from colleagues and friends. One of the earliest responders is his long time buddy, basketball great, LeBron James. 

“Sending my thoughts and prayers to the heavens above to my brother Jamie Foxx. 

“Get well and back to yourself SOONER THAN LATER! God willing," James wrote on his Twitter handle.
