Chelsea Part Ways With Potter as Bruno Saltor Steps In
English premiership side, Chelsea, announced the sacking of club manager, Graham Potter.
West London premiership side, Chelsea, on Sunday, parted ways with club manager, Graham Potter.
The separation came a string of poor outings, seven months after taking over from Thomas Tuchel. It came barely 24 hours after the club suffered an umpteenth humiliating defeat, this time, from Aston Villa.
Potter, who was appointed on September 8, 2022 to replace Thomas Tuchel on a five-year contract, has been shown the exit door after only seven wins in 22 Premier League games.
Skysports reports he was given the boot in a meeting on Sunday.
Meanwhile, former Brighton player, Bruno Saltor, has been appointed manager at stamford Bridge in an interim capacity.
Julian Nagelsmann, who was axed by Bayern Munich a week ago, is favoured to replace the former Brighton manager.
