Actors Guild Of Nigeria To Embark On 7- Day Health Awareness Campaign In Abuja
Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, is organising an AGN Health Week 2023, a week long Health Awareness programme dubbed, "WALK FOR LIFE" in Abuja on April 15, 2023, for the members of the Guild and the general public.

The event is the initiative of the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Ejezie Emeka Rollas, MON, who had earlier organised the first event in Lagos on the February 11, 2023, at the Teslem Balogun Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
Recall that similar event was held in Asaba, Delta State capital, Portharcourt, Rivers State capital while Enugu State event will be coming up on the April 24, with Abuja on March,15.
The Actors Guild Of Nigeria, Mayor of Abuja, popularly knwon as 20mouth, Ugochukwu Ohuonu, on Thursday, said that the programme is a national programme that would spread across the states of Nigeria.
The Abuja Programme Cordinator, Ohuonu, stated that AGN Health Week 2023, is to be graced by the National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Chief Ejezie Emeka Rollas, and the Vice President of the AGN, North Central zone.
According to Ohuonu, Nollywood stars and celebrities like Realwarripikin, Sydney Dela, Tony Good Man , Empress Njamah, Publicity Secretary of the AGN, kata Henshaw, France Duru, Sani Danja, Kenneth okonkwo, Nazareth, and many Celebrities from cross Nigeria, are expected at the event.
He disclosed that the Health Week, event is a wellness awareness program put together by the Guild.
Ohuonu pointed out that the 7-day grassroots sensitization and awareness campaign is on the wellness of health in the FCT, stating that the event is to be led by the National President of the Guild, Emeka Rollas.
He stated that Walk For Life is a health fitness walk for actors, intending actors and the general public, stressing that the public should come out in their numbers to be part of the programme.
According to Ohuonu, the Mayor of Abuja, the health and wellness awareness program will feature health walk, free medical check up, HOM, and insurance renewal and lectures.
He said the Resource persons attending the event are medical and professional doctors and health workers drawn across the country, stressing that they are team of professionals from Medicard and Universal Insurance Plc; and Stanbic IBTC pension managers are part of the people that would deliver lectures on that day.
Ohuonu said Emeka Rollas will lead the Walk, along others, which is expected to start from Radio House, and ends at the Arts and Culture Centre, Area 10 Abuja, starting by 7am in the morning.
