2023/2024 Police Recruitment: Anambra Command Begins Screening

Anambra Police Command has announced the commencement of the screening exercise for qualified Nigerians of the state origin who applied for recruitment into the Nigerian Police. 

The development, contained in a statement released by the command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, on Saturday, pointed out that the exercise will be conducted at command headquarters, Awambia, Awka, between January 8 and 29, 2024. 

According to the statement, candidates who applied for recruitment are to check application status on the recruitment portal, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng, from where they are to print their invitation slip for the screening exercise. 

It explained that qualified candidates are to appear for the exercise with two white flat files with a recent passport photograph.

Among other requirements, the candidates are to come with evidence of their  physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized medical facility, evidence of good character from the village/district head of the applicant, certificate of origin duly signed by the local government chairman or secretary, national identity number (NIN) slip print-out, original and duplicate copies of credentials O’ level result(s), birth certificate/declaration of age, print-out of the application form, duly completed guarantor’s form and an invitation slip. 

State police commissioner, CP Aderemi Adeoye, who warned candidates to avoid being swindled by online fraudstars and other criminal elements, assured that the screening exercise will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and professionalism.
