The Orogun Ward 2; in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Ward Executive Committee, on Monday, slammed suspension order on the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.
Omo-Agege contested the March 18, governorship election in Delta State but lost to the incumbent party, Peoples Democratic Party, candidate supported by the governor f the state, Ifeanyi Okowa.
On Monday, the Deputy Senate President, got suspension order slammed on him by his ward.
The reason for the suspension, however, by the Delta State Executive Committee of the ward of the All Progressives Congress, was anti-party activities.
In a communique issued out by the Ward Executive, accused Omo-Agege of greedily and illegally hijacking the party from the ward to the state and personally handpicked the National Publicity Secretary, without due consultations.
Recall that the Chairperson of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Lauretta Onochie, was late last week suspended for alleged anti-party activities.
