Eboigbe Releases A Statement on Edo APC Guber Aspirants List,

Frontline aspirant, Edo 2024 Governorship election under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Victor Otaigbe Eboigbe, VOE, has released a statement on the outcome of the pruning exercise conducted by the party to prune down the number of its aspirants.

Eboigbe who released the statement on Saturday, said he is in agreement with the outcome of the exercise. 

While commending the team over what he described as a "...thankless job", he pointed out that it was the right thing to do. 

He urged his supporters to accept the outcome as the well considered decision of the party is more important than the ambition of invidual member.

Re: Emergence of Aspirants for the APC Primary 

Following the release of six names, two from each of the three Senatorial Districts of the state, as aspirants for the forthcoming primary election of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, I wish to state as follows:

I wish to commend the committee and the leadership for doing the right thing by pruning down the number of aspirants. It is a thankless job over which I must salute them. 

That even though it didn’t favour me I will abide by their decision given that everybody cannot be governor at the same time. 

I therefore wish to urge my teeming supporters not to despair. As party loyalists we will not only abide by its decision, we will also await further directives from the leadership, particularly that of Edo Central.
