Recall that in September 2013, Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest businessman, announced plans for the refinery in when he secured about $3.3 billion in financing for the project.
The 650,000 barrels per day (BPD) integrated refinery project, is located in the Lekki free trade zone area of Lagos state.
