Trump To Turn Himself In On Thursday
Former US President Donald Trump

Former US President, Donald Trump, has said he will voluntarily surrender to Georgia authorities on Thursday.

He is charged for his attempts, alongside others, illegally overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Trump, who has been handed a Friday deadline to turn himself in, also agreed to a $200,000 bond, including other release conditions.

The agreement followed a meeting between his lawyers and Fulton County Jail on Monday.

"I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney, Fani Willis,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social Platform.

Trump is accused of heading a “criminal enterprise” and being part of a broad criminal conspiracy to overturn his electoral defeat.

His other co-defenders include former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and ex-Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Overall, Trump now faces 91 charges grouped under four separate criminal cases while still running for the 2024 Presidential poll. He however, described the charges as politically motivated haven denied any wrongdoing.

One of his 18 co-defenders, Dr. Eastman, is expected to turn himself in on Wednesday.

Eastman, who agreed to a $100,000 bond on Monday, is expected to be arrested and processed before being granted bail.
