The time to rise and protect the integrity of Nigeria is now. To say that the Sovereignty, Independence and security of Nigeria is at serious stake going by the moves by Bola Tinubu to stop the release or publishing of his criminal records at the disposal of the FBI, CIA and the rest is an understatement.
These are global agencies with high reputation and influence.This development portends grave danger to the sovereignty, independence and security of Nigeria as a country.
A situation whereby a foreign country holds criminal records of a sitting President of Nigeria simply means that he will always be at their mercies, he is susceptible to their manipulation, and a prey to every demands either good or bad for the country. Certainly, these records can be used to hold him on the jugular and our president automatically becomes a pawn in the hands of US intelligence. This is not a good spot for Nigeria to be at this time or any time ever.
It is time for Nigerians to come together regardless of political affiliation. This is not about the PDP , APC or Labour Party. It is about the Independence of our nation. Nigerians must realise that Tinubu is now a serious danger to the existence and progress of our country.
If Nigeria were to be a serious country where the citizens know their rights, responsibilities, influence and are active, where National Assembly is optimally functional, independent and people oriented, by today, Mr Tinubu should have been shown the way out of Nigeria Presidency, as his actions will make our country dance naked in the market square.
It’s time for the so called critical stakeholders of Nigeria to wake up and come together , in the interest of the country.
Leaders of Nigeria and stakeholders the General Ibrahim Babangida, AbdulSalami Abubakar, Mohammadu Buhari , Goodluck Jonathan, Olusegun Obasanjos; the religious leaders, Business communities, the Civil society groups, the youths , Students, market women and every stakeholders are called upon to save the country from this impending dangers of Tinubu’s continued Presidency.
