Sergius Oguns Quits PDP
*Says recent events in the party made it impossible for his continuous membership and participation
Former two-time member, House of Representatives, Hon Sergius Oguns, has withdrawn his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He made the disclosure in a letter addressed to the party's chairman, Award 10, Esan South-East council area, Edo state.
Expressing his gratitude to the party for giving him the privilege to serve as a law maker under its platform, Hon Oguns noted however, that he is quitting the party for reasons of “recent development within the party..." which he described as one that made his"...continuous participation and contribution to nation building untenable."
An aspirant in the 2024 governorship election, Hon Oguns has not given an inclination with regards to which party he is pitching his tent. There are speculations however, that he may be heading to the Labour Party, LP.
