An upcoming and fast-rising star, Nollywood movie actress, Gbemi Anjola, is dead. The actress, who is popular in the Yoruba genres of the Nollywood died at the age of 33-year.

An upcoming and fast-rising star, Nollywood movie actress, Gbemi Anjola, is dead.
The actress, who is popular in the Yoruba genres of the Nollywood died at the age of 33-year.
She died on Friday, the 24th of March, after a prolong battle with ovarian cancer.
According to reports, Gbemi was diagnosed with the ailment in 2021, which took her to Dubai, UAE for chemotherapy which lasted about six months.
She returned to Nigeria after her medical treatment in Dubai, cancer-free.
It was gathered that on Friday, the 25th of March, 2023, she developed headache and memory loss.
She was said to have been rushed to the hospital, but, unfortunately, the actress couldn't make it to life
Her colleagues in the industry, Itele and Zainab Balogun, announced her death on their Instagram pages.
Meanwhile, tributes are being dropped on her Instagram account page as other friends, such as Nkechi Blessing, Kunle Afod and Biodun Okeowo all took to their colleagues’ comment section to drop their condolences.
