Israeli/Hamas Conflict: Released Hostages Back In Tel Aviv

Two elderly Israelis released by Hamas, 85 year-old Yocheved Lifshitz and 79 year-old Nurit Cooper, have arrived Israel's coastal city, Tel Aviv.

News of the release of the duo, held hostage alongside hundreds of others since October 7, was made on Monday, bringing the total released so far to four.

The release is sequel to the freedom earlier granted two American citizens on Friday more than two weeks since they were abducted following Hamas' assault on Israel, during which over 1,400 people were killed, with over 200 taken as hostage.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Health Ministry authorities say over 5,000 people have lost their lives since the conflict began. Over 15,000 others, the authorities added, have been injured

Israel insists the conflict will not end until Hamas surrenders completely, with all Israeli hostages safely released.
