Get Closer to Christ, Seek His Counsel, Eboigbe Urges Christians

A Federal Commissioner, Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, Victor Otaigbe Eboigbe, has called on Christians to get closer to and seek the counsel of Jesus Christ for the faith and spiritual rebirth required to overcome ongoing challenges. 

Eboigbe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and frontline aspirant in the Edo 2024 governorship election, made the call on Sunday while felicitating with fellow Christians on the occasion of Christmas, the divine birth of Jesus Christ, the foundation of the Christian faith. 

While urging Christians to remember Christ's words on faith as small as the mustard seed, which he said can move even mountains, he counseled all Christians to evolve a more robust relationship with Him as that is the only way to seek and receive his spiritual counsel required to overcome life's many challenges. According to him, what Christ cannot do does not exist. 

"The real challenges we face as Christians are as a result of our lack in faith. The solution to a lot of them challenges is more in the faith we have in Christ. I can only urge us to renew our faith in him because there is is nothing, including ongoing challenges, that is impossible before him. 

"We have a lot to benefit from his overcoming authority if we renew our faith in him, if we listen more and adhere to his wise counsel. That is why I am urging all of us, genuine Christians, to move closer to him particularly now that we are celebrating Christmas, the day of his divine birth," he counseled.
