Genital Grabbing Saga: Saudi Lawyer Calls for Ronaldo's Deportation

A Saudi Arabian lawyer, Nouf bin Ahmed, has called on his country’s authorities to deport Portuguese international, Cristiano Ronaldo, for openly grabbing his genitals while leaving the pitch on Tuesday night. 

Ronaldo was seen grabbing his crotch as he left the pitch as fans chanted his arch rival, Lionel Messi's name in response to Al-Nassr's 2-0 loss to Al-Hilal. 

Ahmed who vowed to file complaints against the Al-Nassr player, insists the international football star committed a "crime of public indecency" as according to him, the player's action amounted to an insulting gesture toward fans after his teams loss. 

“It is considered a crime of public dishonour, and it is one of the crimes that entail arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner,” Ahmed wrote on his Twitter handle, vowing to file a complaint to the Saudi Prosecutor’s Office for his ‘crime of public indecency’.

Reports say Ronaldo's action also drew the ire of several Saudi Arabian journalists. In particular, Ozman Abu Bakr suggested that his club should terminate his £175m-a-year contract following his ‘immoral and impolite gesture against the spectators’.

But Marca quotes Al-Nassr sources as saying that the player made held his crotch after receiving a blow to his genitals.
