Eboigbe Congratulates Comrade Sen Oshiomhole On His Tribunal Victory
*Calls on petitioner to accept verdict as victory for the will of the people.
Frontline aspirant, Edo 2024 Governorship election, Victor Eboigbe, has congratulated one of the national leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, on his victory at the National Assembly/State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal.
Eboigbe, who described the tribunal verdict as a victory for the people and triumph of truth over falsehood, noted that a contrary outcome would have been a shock to the entire nation given the overwhelming support the former governor received during the election, particularly for his people-friendly style of leadership.
"Comrade Oshiomhole is an icon. His records speak for him across the country. We all know how much his people rever him for his people-friendly style of leadership. Even the petitioner is aware that the petition was more to fulfill all righteousness because the support for Comrade Oshiomhole on that election was overwhelming.
"It is a victory well deserved and I congratulate him," he said.
While urging Comrade Oshiomhole to see the victory as a call for more work for his people and Edo state in general, Eboigbe called on Sen Alimhenkhena to see the outcome as a pointer to the call for all to team up and work for a better Edo North.
"As far as I know, it is a no Victor, no vanquish case. As statesmen, both of them understand that the tribunal's decision is a call to action for the betterment of Edo North and Edo state generally."
