Bayern Suspend, Set to Fine Mane

German football club, Bayern Munich, have  suspended star player, Sadio Mane, for punching team mate, Leroy Sane after Tuesday's Champions League defeat to Manchester City. 

The German club also said the Senegalese international, who will not be part of the team's home Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim on Saturday, will be fined.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the team. 

"Sadio Mane, 31, will not be in the FC Bayern squad for the home game against 1899 Hoffenheim next Saturday. The reason is Mane's misconduct after FC Bayern's Champions League game at Manchester City. In addition, Mane will receive a fine," the team wrote. 

Mane punched Sane after an altercation on Tuesday following which they were separated by their team-mates in the dressing room. Prior to the fracas, they were seen arguing at the tail end of the match shortly before the bust-up. 

Both players trained together after the incident but Mane is expected to apologize to his team mate in front of other team mates.
