The cause of the fire was not immidiately known but the fire is being put out by the operatives of the Federal Fire Services.
The fire would have caused a serious damage to the military base, if not for the quick intervention of men of the Federal Fire Service.
The Head of Operations, FFF FCT, Abiola Adebayo, confirmed the incident stating that firefighters were working hard to completely put out the fire.
“The fire gutted part of the NAF Base, and our men are here putting out the fire, and we’re working hard to completely quench the fire.
“However, I can’t confirm the cause of the fire outbreak yet, but we’ll put out a statement once our findings are concluded.” Adebayo said.
