Abia Bishop In Police Net Over Death Of Female Evangelist Lover In Aba Hotel Room

Operatives of the Abia state police command have arrested the General Overseer, GO, of the Agape Evangelical Ministries, also known as City of Miracles, Bishop Timothy Otu, after a married female Evangelist who Lodged with him in a Hotel was found dead in a hotel room.

The deceased Evangelist, simply identified as Evangelist Happiness, was found dead in the hotel room she shared with Bishop Otu at the Jubilee Guest House, Ovom, Ogbor Hill, Obikabia Junction, Aba, Abia State. 

She was found naked and foaming from both mouth and nose after what the police described as a marathon sex. 

Bishop Otu, who is being held at the Eastern Ngwa Police Station, Obingwa council area of the state, was said to have escaped from the hotel have discovered that his partner had collapsed on the pretext of going to buy food at about 11pm on August 12.

Apparently sensing a foul play, the hotel manager alerted the nearby Eastern Ngwa police station whose operatives were quickly drafted to the scene where they found the deceased already lifeless. 

Investigations revealed that the deceased and the fleeing Bishop were involved in a steaming illicit affair, given the content of the SMS messages between the duo as contained in her phone. 

Subsequently, the Bishop was traced to his church on Sunday while leading the day's service during which he preached 'Repentance' unaware that detectives were among his congregation. 

The deceased Evangelist, a mother of five whose husband was at work in Bayelsa state at the time of the incident, hails from Umuatakawom in Obingwa.
