US Convoy Attack: Police Rescue Two Embassy Staff
The joint task force on Friday rescued two persons abducted during the attack on a US Consulate convoy in Anambra state.
Operatives of the Joint Task Force, attached to the Anambra state Police Command, early Friday morning, rescued unhurt, the two remaining victims of Tuesday's attack on a US Consulate convoy.
The disclosure is contained in a release made available to newsmen by the command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, on Friday.
"In the early hours of today, 19/5/2023, the joint security forces rescued unhurt the two remaining victims abducted during the attack on a US convoy attack along Atani/Osamela road in Ogbaru Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State," the statement read in part without providing further details.
