Tinubu Takes Over As Nigeria's President
Takes over from Buhari in a colorful ceremony.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has taken over as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He took over office from immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari, after being administered with his oath of office on Monday by the Chief Justice of the federation, Olukayode Ariwoola, GCON.
The colorful ceremony took place at the Eagles Square, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
His oath was preceded by that of the Vice President, Kassim Shettima.
