The Results INEC Suspended In Abia State

The Independent National Electoral Commission suspended further collation of governorship election results in some parts of Abia State. The National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye on Monday, disclosed in a statement.

Recall that INEC’s office in Obingwa Local Government Area in Abia State was invaded by thugs on Sunday, March 19, 2023, and its officials were held hostage in relation to the collation of results from the Local Government Area.

Meanwhile, below is all the official results already declared for Abia State governorship election from the 16 Local Government Areas remaining Obingwa LGA.
