MultiChoice Zaps EmmanuelTV from DSTV, GOtv Over BBC Documentary

The MultiChoice congloenerate, owners of both DSTV and GOtv, has concluded plans remove Emmanuel TV from its platforms.
The organization confirmed the development on Wednesday, January 10, via its spokesperson, Dave Ibemere.
The popular religious programme, according to the conglomerate, will no longer be on both the DSTV and GOtv platforms by Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
The decision, it says, is sequel to an investigative documentary featured by the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, on the late televangelist founder of the Synogogue of All Nations, SCOAN, Prophet Temitope Babatunde Joshua, better known as TB Joshua.
While alive, the late televangelist was documented to have allegedly conducted a regime of fake miracles and committed horrible crimes, including rape and other human rights violations.
Meanwhile, StarSat and other digital platforms have also decided to remove the television station from their platforms.
It would be recalled that the YouTube shut down the channel in April 2021 following what it referred to as its "gay curing" claims.
