Eid el Fitri: Anambra Police Boss Felicitates With Muslims

Anambra state Police Commissioner, CP Echeng Echeng, has felicitated with the Muslim community in the state as they celebrate the Eid el Fitr. 

CP Echeng, who congratulated the Muslims on their successful completion of the month-long fasting and prayers, urged them to use the period not only for celebration but also to pray for peace and prosperity of both the state and nation. 

While reaffirming the readiness of the command to protect lives and property, maintain law and order, CP Echeng assured that as part of the measures in place for a hitch-free celebration, the command has directed Area Commanders, Heads of Tactical Formations and Divisional Police officers have to engage in dynamic visibility policing patrols potent enough to address any security concerns.

He also noted that the Command is collaborating with other security agencies and stakeholders within the state to provide adequate public security and safety during and after this period.
