Breaking: SUPREME COURT Razes Down By Fire
Monday morning early fire has gutted down the Supreme Court of Nigeria located at the Three Arms Zone of Abuja, which also house the Presidential Villa and the National Assembly.
Sources said the fire affected the Justices chamber in the apex court and has affected some of their offices.
It was gathered that the fire started around 6 am when the cleaners on duty and some of the workers had resumed duty.
The workers detected the fire and raised the alarm.
According to sources, the workers allegedly used the fire extinguishers in the building to try to quench the fire as the Fire Service van in the premises was incapacitated and couldn't function.
However, the workers made a quick contact to the National Judicial Council and the Fire Service office in Wuse 2, to get help.
Reports say offices of three of the justices are seriously affected.
The early morning inferno has however, been brought under control.
