Tinubu Reshuffles Ministerial Portfolios

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Sunday, reshuffled his earlier announced ministerial portfolios.

The changes were announced in a press statement released by his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale. 

According to the release, Abubakar Momoh, formerly assigned to the ministry of Youth Development, will now head the Niger Delta Development ministry while former governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola is the new head of the Marine & Blue Economy ministry . 

Others are Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, Interior; Hon. Sa'idu Alkali, Transportation;

The statement also indicated that the Ministers of State in the Oil & Gas sector will henceforth, be domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources and designated as Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources, headed by Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri; and Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources, led by Hon. Ekperipe Ekpo. 

The President equally approved a change of name for the Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management, now to be known and addressed as the Federal Ministry of Environment.

The statement added that all changes are with immediate effect.
