Tinubu Appoints Akume, Gbajabiamila, Sen. Hadejia
The former Governor of Benue State, George Akume, has been appointed as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Friday.

The President also appointed former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Ibrahim Hassan Hadejiaas, as Deputy Chief of Staff.
The Director of Information, State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye, confirmed the appointments in a statement on Friday, stating that the President announced Akume’s appointment during a meeting with Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday, in Abuja.
He stated that the President also officially, confirmed the appointment of the Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff.
Recall that George Akume, was immediate past Minister of Special Duties.
