PDP Congratulates Bayelsa Indigenes For Voting Party's National Assembly Candidates
The Bayelsa State People's Democratic Party, PDP, has hailed the people of Bayelsa for massively voting the party's National Assembly and House of Representatives candidates in the just concluded presidential and National Assembly polls.

The state PDP, however, expressed deep appreciation for Party's landslide victory in national assembly polls and congratulates all Bayelsans.
The Bayelsa State, PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ebiye Ogoli, in a statement said the Party interprets the outcome as a vote of confidence and display of affection for Governor Douye Diri's people-centric leadership and stewardship of Bayelsa State over the last three years.
Ogoli in a congratulatory message, emphatically, stressed that the State Executive Committee of the Party led by the state chairman of the party, Hon. Solomon Agwana (JP), congratulated Bayelsans for the successful polls and expressed profound gratitude for the victory of eight out of nine of its national assembly candidates.
He said the Agwana led State executive of the PDP was delighted and indeed, satisfied with the outcome of last Saturday's National Assembly polls, wherein the Party won all three Senatorial seats of the state and four out of five House of Representative seats with one declared inconclusive.
"PDP therefore extend sincere aporeciation to the good people of Bayelsa East, Central and West senatorial districts for their faith, patriotism, courage and doggedness in the exercise and defence of their democratic rights in the face of daunting logistical and security challenges.
"We take special notice and do particularly, salute the fearless, patriotic citizens of the East senatorial district for their hard work to reclaim their stolen mandates of 2019 for Nembe/Brass federal constituency as well as the Bayelsa East senatorial district seats.
"We are hopeful to emerge victorious at the conclusion of Silga Federal constituency supplementary elections.
"Your voices have been heard loud and clear - in every nook and cranny of the state, from Ekeremor down to Brass, of your abiding faith and love for the PDP owing to the humane policies and excellent performance of the Senator Diri - led Prosperity Administration in all key sectors".
"And PDP give an assurance that this progressive trend will not slow down as the Governor is poised to do more to improve the living conditions of ordinary men and women of our state.
"In the same token, we congratulate His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, Rt. Hon. Kombowei Friday Benson and Chief Benson Sunday Agadaga for emerging winners in the West, Central and East districts senatorial elections.
"Additionally, we rejoice with Hon. Fred Y. Agbedi, Oforji Oboku, Mitema Obordor as well as Mrs. Marie Ebikake for clinching the House of Representative seats in their various constituencies. We are indeed gratified and thank everyone for their contribution in writing this new storyline". The message reads.
He explained that the State PDP appreciated the INEC, the Security agencies, Election observers, and monitors and all stakeholders for the peaceful conduct of last Saturday's polls.
"We appeal for citizens to keep faith with the PDP and vote massively for all our State House of Assembly candidates on the 11th of March, 2023." He stated.
