Osun Police Nabs Man For Allegedly Killing 20
Saheed Wasiu admitted to killing 20 persons
The Osun State police command says it has, in its custody, a man, Saheed Wasiu, who has confessed to killing 20 people.
The Command made this known in a statement released by its spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola.
According to the statement, Wasiu, also known as K-Federal, is previously on the Command's wanted list for murder and cult-related Crimes.
He is an alleged member of the Rasheed Hammed, also known as Oko-Ilu-led Eiye Confraternity.
“On 07/05/2023 at about 1400hrs, upon tip-off received that, one Saheed Wasiu ‘m’ popularly known as K-Federal, admitted to actively participating in the killing of 20 people in Ede town and is one of the deadly and notorious members of Rasheed Oko-Ilu led gangster was around Alusekere area, Ede, Osun State, Police detective from Special Anti-cultism unit swung into action and arrested the suspect.
“During the interrogation, he confessed to be a member of Eiye confraternity led by one Rasheed Hammed, a.k.a Oko-Ilu who has been arrested and remanded at correctional custody some time ago,” the statement read
Some of his victims include late Wale, Jamiu, Ganiyu, Azeez and Eyimba.
He is expected to appear in court as quickly as investigations are completed.
