Osinbajo Presides FEC Meeting ..As FEC Observes Minute Silent, Mourns Ajibola
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has presided over the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting on Wednesday, with members of the Council observing a minute silent in honour of the late Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Prince Bola Ajibola, who died on Sunday at the age of 89.

Ajibola was former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), from 1984-1985, former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, and one-time judge at the International Court of Justice at the Hague,
The VP presided over the meeting in the absence of his principal, President Mohammadu Buhari, who was on official assignment in Saudi Arabia.
President Muhammadu Buhari traveled to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, for official engagement and is expected to spend eight days on his final official trip to the kingdom as the president of Nigeria.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC), was held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, commenced at about 10am.
Those in attendance are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari and others at the council meeting include a few cabinet ministers and some presidential aides.
