Ondo Tragedy: Petrol Tanker Falls, Explodes, Burnt Pregnant Woman, Several Children, Scores Of Others

An unidentified pregnant woman, several children and scores of people were burnt alive Sunday evening when a fallen tanker laddened with Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol, fell and exploded into flames along Showboy road, opposite Optima filling station, Ore, Odigbo council area of Ondo state.
The victims were said to be scooping the spilling PMS when the tanker exploded and sucked in them in into the ensuing flames.
The driver was said to have lost control of the tanker leading to the crash, spillage and subsequent fire.
Though no details about the cause of the flame is available, FreshNews learnt it may not be unconnected to phone from one of the people scooping the highly combustible spilled fuel.
