New Anambra Police Boss, Engages Command, Tours Units, Security Hotspots

The newly appointed commissioner of Police, Anambra state Command, CP Aderemi Adeoye, has embarked on an internal engagements with the various formations under his command.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen in the Command's headquarters, Awka, on Tuesday, by the commnad’s spokesperson.

According to the statement, CP Adeoye's duty tour is designed to enhance capacity in security while also motivating officers and men for better service delivery.

CP Adeoye, who also paid a courtesy visit to the state governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, used the occasion of the tour to resuscitate the Commissioner’s Commendation Award for officers who performed exceptionally.

Besides visiting several security pinpoints in the state, CP Adeoye was at both the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, and the Police Mobile Force Base 29, Amansea, with a promise that the command is ready, more than ever before, to secure the lives and property of every law-abiding citizens and residents of the state.
