The Ondo State Police Command, under the proactive and purposeful leadership of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adebowale Lawal, said the command has arrested one Ademola Joshua, a 55 year old man over alleged incest and sexual abuses.

in a statement on Monday, 5 January, 2026, said the Command wishes to inform the general public of the arrest of one Ademola Joshua, male, aged 55 years, over an alleged grievous case of incest and sexual abuse.
According to him, on 4th January, 2025, one Adewale of Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, reported to the Command that the above-mentioned suspect had been engaging in unlawful sexual activities with his sister’s daughter, a 15-year-old minor. The complainant stated that the act was uncovered following inquiries into the cause of the victim’s pregnancy.
Jimoh claimed that upon receiving the petition, which he said was a disturbing report, transferred the case immediately to the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Unit of the Command for discreet and thorough investigation, adding that the suspect is currently in custody and would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
